Putting up some new light fittings this week. The one you cant see is a retractable light sitting over the dining table for posh dinners and late night board games, I'm guessing.

Nice job this week restoring some original floorboards. The floor overhangs a bay window which was causing the gaps to be very draughty. This meant filling all the gaps and securing the boards before sanding them down and varnishing.  Used a activated wood filler, and ronseal diamond hard satin finish varnish, X3 coats. Important to use the right brush on this one and light sand between each coat.

Just admiring the brickwork of an old little building along the marches last weekend. I'd probably want some help carrying the bricks if I were to take on a job of this size.
